The third running of the Womens mini-marathon Galway is on June 26th 2011 (the last Sunday in June again). We had a really great event last year so this year we want it to be better, bigger and more fun.
Because Bon Secours Hospital together with our other sponsors are generously supporting this event, 100% of your registration fee goes to Galway Simon for homeless services. Why not register right now?
We have postponed our World-Record attempt at the 'largest high heel race' until Race week and still look forward to your suggestions.

Registering for the Event is Easy! Registration for the 2011 Galway Women's Mini Marathon is just €25.
You can register online now by clicking one of the links below. You will need a credit or debit card.
Or you can download an application form, then print, complete it and return it with a cheque or your card details.
Team Entries - 20% off.
If 5 participants enter together, one of you gets free registration. That is 5 for the price of 4 - €100.
It is vital that all participants register prior to the event. Online Registration is closed.

This is yet another fantastic example of Bon Secours Hospital tangible involvement in the local community. They are helping several community groups and teams in the West of Ireland and we are delighted to have them involved in this event following on their successful involvement last year.

Romance for Two Galway Simon Community
Galway Simon Community began providing services in the city in 1979 & over the years has developed a continuum of care for homeless people offering a variety of accommodation services, permenent housing, counceling and health supportive services, and a Day Centre.
At present, Galway Simon provide accommodation for over 100 single men and women that for one reason or another became homeless.
